Evening walk

These past weeks have been very exciting and full of great memories. I turned 20 this week, and the weekend before I was baptized. It was a really exciting event and something I always will remember. I celebrated the event with my friends and family and we ate a lot of cake. I really looked forward to this day for a long time, and now that it finally happened I really feel motivated for my future. I did not get baptized as a child and I never really saw a reason for it to ever happen, but the last year has really changed me a lot.

The other day I went on an evening walk with my father, who has been interested in photography for a long time, but he somehow never pursues it any further. But when I told him that I wanted to explore a nearby area around sunset, he wanted to come too, and take some pictures.

In this area, there is this special tree, that somehow grows in the wrong direction. I have always been fascinated by its weird shape and tried some different angles to capture it beautifully.

This picture is a combination of 28 pictures stitched together in Image Composite Editor to a panorama. I really love the light, and I think this picture may be the most peaceful picture I have ever taken.
